The basic price for the agricultural appraisal is $40 per acre for all properties 50 acres or larger. The basic price for all properties under 50 acres is a flat $2,000. This covers all the agricultural assets on the farm or ranch. $40 an acre is the normal price other companies charge just for the soil nutrient assessment. We do everything for that price, non-soil assets included. 25% of the cost of the report is due when the report is ordered. The balance is due when the report is complete. Final payment must be completed before the report is delivered.
While this pricing structure will cover the majority of our clients, there are a few exceptions. Some additional surcharges may be included if:
-The client has a tract of land that was acquired in different years. If a client had a 100 acre farm, but it was purchased as 4 separate 25 acre tracts, all in different years, there are more calculations and documentation that must be done related to the separate years. There will be additional cost related to this. Contact us for a custom quote in this situation.
-Our home office is in Fredericksburg, Texas. Any properties within 200 miles of our office will receive the standard pricing. Any properties outside that radius will incur additional travel-related surcharges. Contact us for a custom quote.
